I had my first son an was scheduled to be induced an my grandma in california told me about the remedy an how much to use.. I tried it an it worked wonderfully.. After u take it your suppose to go walking for an hour or as long as you can, then go home put ur feet up relax, but u will have bowel movements. But you should eat before getting ready to take it. Then just lay back chill to the effects kick in. Im now about to have my second son an i plan on using the same remedy, it also helps with contractions. Before trying it, please look into the research that shows that babies born due to "castor oil induction" are significantly more likely to pass and inhale meconium. Castor oil will stimulate mama's bowels, and baby's as well. There are many other ways to naturally induce labor that are much safer. Remember too that you don't have to agree to everything your doctor (or midwife) suggests. Unless there is a medical need to induce, tell her/him that you would like to try other methods!
